Teamgate – for picky sellers

In front of you – cloud-based business tool – Teamgate. It is a tool for salesmen – people who work with the search of clients, offer them something and follow, how proposal turns into a real order, which finally converts into cash and profits. Certain salesmen see Teamgate as a useful replacement for Excel and workbooks.

What makes this tool so good and superior to the Excel spreadsheet? There are quite a few reasons to move into the cloud:

  1. Clearly visible sales process, from the initial contact to the final stage – payment.

  2. When more than one employee,  visible sales progress and other parameters, such as carried out and planned the number of calls and meetings, personal selling, distribution of tasks, sales plan execution, which allows seeing clearly who is performing better, in both quantitative and qualitative terms.

  3. Ability to determine their own way of the sales process.

  4. All customer contacts are stored in the cloud.

Significant benefits provided by calendar and contacts lock, especially when working in a company, where the frame rate is quite considerable. That way, even in the change of staff, all the essential information about the progress of the sale with each client is preserved.

Working with Teamgate

First of all, access to the system is granted to the executive – the primary user. Afterward,  he is able to create profiles for the employees and select their settings accordingly. Another important step – setting the sales process. At this point, all the important steps of the sales process are entered and their duration is determined.

  • For example, usually sale is conducted as follows:

  • Customer’s Request;

  • Replying to request by e-mail;

  • Information check;

  • Commercial proposal;

  • Price negotiations;

  • The agreement (contract).

Afterward,  service performance and final settlement follow. Generally, the salesperson does not control the performance, because it was done by his colleague in charge of the service or production. That way additional resources are needed.

After the basic settings are done, you need to familiarize yourself with how the entire sales process management works.

Upon customer’s request, a customer is entered, his data and a responsible contact person. Subsequently, the data can be adjusted. The process moves to the answering the query.

Reading client’s request is followed by the answer. If everything is clear, the price is given. If you need to update the price and discussion with colleagues is needed, the polite letter is sent with the promise of contact in the near future. Moving on to the next stage, the box which identifies the appropriates sales stage, with the customer’s information, is simply transferred from the inquiry stage to the stage of information adjustment.

If you need additional information, it queries by phone or e-mail and then the price or a commercial proposition is being sent.

When carried out in each stage, you only need to move the sales marking box from one column of sales stage to another. In this way, it is always visible at what stage customer is. It is also important for other employees because then, they can simply take over the management of customer.

Following another stage – Negotiations about the price, if necessary, which could be arranged by e-mail or a special agreement/contract.

It seems pretty simple.

These can be bills, commercial offers, various templates for documents, service descriptions, etc. They are usually stored on your computer and sent by e-mail, but with Teamgate they will always be at hand.

In summary, one can say that working with this tool helps to stay updated on sales and customer, to know what stage is each client on, plan time with calendar assistance. It is convenient to pass through work, sharing with other employees, keep the necessary documents in one place.
