CalDAV is a standard protocol used to obtain, manage and share calendar and scheduling information. This technology is used by Google, Yahoo and many other commercial and open source calendar application servers. For calendar synchronization, each user is given a unique link which can be found in your profile.

In order to synchronize events between your Teamgate account and the mail application you are using, you are required to obtain a Teamgate link, which will be used in your email application.

You can obtain the link by going to your profile, in the ‘Integrations’ section find the link that is displayed below ‘Calendar events sync’, and copy that link (CTRL+C)

Now that you have a link open your e-mail application.

Outlook

If this application is Outlook you will need an additional plug-in for the application. These products allow you to use the CalDAV protocol with Outlook – using Google search you may find the products most suitable for your particular needs.

However, we recommend you purchase Outlook DAV by Comodo. You will need the choose the basic settings – which can be found in this user manual. The tool itself can be downloaded from here.

Thunderbird

If you are using the Thunderbird email application you will also need additional plug-ins which allow you to display and manage your calendar: Lightning.

When Thunderbird and Lightning Annex are installed you need to complete the following actions:

Create a new calendar

Select ‘On the Network’

Select value CalDAV and insert the Teamgate calendar link which you have copied

Name your calendar

Enter the login data into Teamgate.
